SPONSORSHIP

The Chibobo community, through Help Ministries Project, is working with its sponsors to achieve a higher degree of self sufficiency for the Chibobo Community. Improved and diversified agricultural and animal husbandry practices are helping to generate income that is more resistant to seasonable rainfall fluctuations.

Principal Australian sponsors, Overnewton Anglican Community College and St. Mary’s Anglican Church, have helped to improve the quality of life in the community through improved educational facilities at Chibobo Basic School and the provision of a much needed Medical Clinic.

The care for the Chibobo orphans continues to be of the highest priority. Sponsorship covers the cost of the carers and some of the running costs for the orphanage. Funds pledged are not linked to an individual orphan, but help to fund the priorities established by Help Ministries Project and the local community.

Sponsorship can be tailored to suit the financial situation of the donor, including the frequency of the sponsorship and the amount.

The sponsorship form can be downloaded below. For more information please contact Maria Calafiore at Overnewton Anglican Community College. Contact details are on the Sponsorship Form.
